This August, President Sheikh Khalifa announced 2018 as the “Year of Zayed” to mark the 100-year birth anniversary of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first President of the UAE. To understand Zayed's legacy and his impact on the values and traditions of Emirati society, The Gazelle interviewed Emirati NYU Abu Dhabi students to find out what stories they heard about the Father of the Nation growing up.
