On March 24, the latest Return To Campus memorandum, issued by NYU Abu Dhabi’s Office of External Relations, outlined some changes and relaxations of rules with regard to Covid-19 regulations. Here is a summary of these announcements.

The RTC events form will no longer be a requirement for prior clearance to organize events and seek event sites on campus as of March 23. Organizers can now reserve events directly with the space managers. More information is available on the Student Portal.

Classroom assignments for the second half of the spring semester have been updated on NYU Albert. Please check your course schedule online and notice the updated location for your course(s). The purpose of the modifications is to allow for the reinstatement of full classroom occupancies as well as the release of corresponding spaces for regular use.

The following days are reserved for East Forum and will not be available for Friday prayers: Friday, April 1 Friday, May 13 Friday, May 27 Please be respectful and ensure that space is prioritized for individuals who live on campus during the times when the East Forum is open for prayer.

The Campus Access App will no longer be active starting March 31 and access to campus will be channeled through the Al Hosn app green pass. When necessary, visitors can use physical copies of negative test results and proof of vaccination/booster/official exemption, but everyone, including visitors, is encouraged to download and utilize the Al Hosn app.

Students can now have daytime guests on campus as long as they follow all public health rules. Students are still prohibited from hosting overnight visits in residential buildings. Fill out the Student Campus Visitor Registration Form at least 24 hours ahead of time to request daytime guests. Any additional queries should be directed to nyuad.visitors@nyu.edu.
