Here are a few fun activities and date ideas to keep in mind for Valentine’s day this week when you and your partner, or you and your friends, want to share some special time together.

-Go to a sunset boardwalk at the Jubail Mangrove Park and enjoy some peace and quiet in the presence of the people you love most. You can also rent an electric dragon boat or a double kayak and enjoy a one hour private tour of the Mangroves Park. The entrance fee is 15 AED per person. -Enjoy making fun of your partner’s giraffe feeding skills by going on a date at the Emirates Park Zoo for free with a February seasonal pass, which gives you a full day access to the zoo and unlimited access to the bird shows, giraffe feeding, Koi Fish feeding, and entertainment. Individual entry normally is 50 AED so hop on it before the offer ends. -Go on a sunset beach date at Hudayriyat, grab food from one (or many) of the food trucks the place offers in a romantic setting surrounded by beautiful lights and decorations. Finish it off with ice cream, bubble tea, or a drink and dessert of your choice from one of the many cafes as you walk on the bridge with a view of the city lights. -Get creative and book an art class at Manarat Al Saadiyat (prices are usually around 100 AED per person). End the night with a romantic dinner at Larte restaurant.
