After a heavily debated student election, the Elections Commission released the results of this semester's NYU Abu Dhabi Student Government Executive Board and class representatives elections on April 26, 2015. Voter participation was 71.4 percent of the student body. The results are as follows:

PRESIDENT

Farah Shamout, Class of 2016 Number of votes: 240 Percentage of total votes, including abstentions: 46.4

VICE PRESIDENT

Quan Vuong, Class of 2017 Number of votes: 248 Percentage of total votes, including abstentions: 46.4

Treasurer

Layan Abu-Yassin, Class of 2016 Number of votes: 237 Percentage of total votes, including abstentions: 45.8

Global Vice President

Samia Ahmed, Class of 2016 Number of votes: 324 Percentage of total votes, including abstentions: 62.7

Senator

James Gardner, Class of 2017 Number of votes: 360 Percentage of total votes, including abstentions: 69.6
