Keira Simmons is a sophomore majoring in Music with a concentration in Anthropology. Her impressive repertoire includes singing, playing the flute, guitar and piano. She draws artistic influences from jazz and folk music and has recently delved into the world of electronic music. She writes her own songs and publishes them on her YouTube channel. On Feb. 25, Simmons sang at NYU New York’s annual talent competition, UltraViolet Live, where she competed against 14 other students from the New York and Shanghai campuses. She won the award for Best Vocal Performance.
